The house of disruptive and innovative design. Demna Gvasalia was appointed artistic director of the house of Balenciaga in 2015, historically founded by Cristobal Balenciaga. Through an anti-conformist style, he announced in 2020 his desire to relaunch Haute Couture, a return to“original know-how”of the House as much as a“a new space of freedom, creation and innovation”.
